Crimson Sky

Crimson Sky is a psychological thriller exploring themes of grief, isolation and identity. The film follows Edward, a widowed farmer struggling to re-adapt to an everyday life in the wake of personal tragedy. When an unwelcome intruder arrives at the farm, Edward is forced to go on a dark journey of personal rediscovery.

The film is set on the outskirts of the South Downs National Park. The outstanding beauty of this location highlights and juxtaposes the intense journey that Edward goes on in the film, placing it the midst of a new wave of British filmmaking telling stories about rural and cut-off regions of the country.
